Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to gain real-world work experience while you earn your degree? Near Infinity Corporation is actively seeking interns to for our NIC-U (NIC-University). All Computer Science (or similar degree program) Junior, Senior, and Graduate students are encouraged to apply. Candidates must be U.S. citizens, eligible/willing to be submitted for a government security clearance, and able to work an established weekly schedule in our Reston, Virginia office.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Technical Skills
- Solid mainstream programming language experience (C, Java, .Net, Ruby, Python, etc.)
- A thirst for knowledge, accompanied by a strong interest in tech trends
Communication Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to create and deliver a technical presentation to a group of peers
- Active participant in a team environment
Experience
- Any professional software development experience is a plus, but minimally should have experience with software projects in an educational setting
- Other technical interests, hobbies, or related IT experience

Schedule
- Two internship sessions are offered each year: December-May and June-November (interns may participate in multiple sessions if selected)
