Near Infinity is looking for experienced Systems Engineers capable of guiding talented developers through enterprise Java implementations using Agile methodologies and best practices. Preferred candidates will be Systems Engineers with previous development experience. Must be able to understand technical problems and contribute to the design of practical solutions. Must also have the ability to traverse between technical and business topics in order to translate day-to-day technical progress/issues into tangible business terminology that helps customers make informed decisions.
Required Skills: Experience with Agile methodologies, specifically XP and Scrum; general understanding of Object Oriented principles and layered design; general understanding of Open Source Java Tools; programming experience; full range product lifecycle experience; good communication skills; management experience. Must be a citizen and hold a B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, or a similar degree.
